How Do I Adopt a Puppy

If you are interested in being the proud parent of a Beagle Ridge puppy, here is a brief description of our process:

1.  First, contact us about a specific puppy.  Puppies will be available for selection when their 4 Day old pictures are posted on the blog.  You may choose at that time; selections will be honored on a first-come-first-served basis.

2.  Make your commitment to a specific puppy and confirm that it is available.  At this time the puppy will be placed "ON HOLD" pending receipt of the deposit.

Please note, that at this time we will provide free delivery up to 50 actual miles (address to address as determined by an online mapping program).  Beyond 50 miles, we will deliver or ship by air, with all arrangements made between Beagle Ridge and the Reserving prospective new owner.  This fee will be added to the invoice for the remaining adoption fee.  Of course, you may always make arrangements to pick up your puppy here.

3.  Make your $100.00 (non-refundable) deposit.  We usually use "PayPal", unless other mutually agreed arrangements are made.  We will send an invoice to your email addres with instructions on payment.

Upon receipt of a deposit, your puppy is then listed as "RESERVED".  A puppy can only be on hold for 7 days.  If deposit is not received (or mutually agreed arrangements made) the puppy will once again be listed as available.

4.  As you wait for your puppy's adoption day, please follow our blog to see updated pictures of the growth and progress.

5.  Puppies are listed as ready to go after the closest weekend to 8 weeks of age.  Most puppies are eating well at 4 weeks and fully weaned at 5 weeks. Puppies shipped by air must be 10 weeks of age.

6.  Receive your puppy with a hug, then let it go potty.  Let your love grow...for a lifetime.

  2. We now only ofer personal delivery as airline regulations and fees have changed dramatically. In general our delivery fee is free for the first 50 miles, and then $.50/per mile, as determined by Yahoo Map after that. This may seem high, but it is a valuable personal handling that is superior to other forms of shipp and as cost effective.
